Sigaba Gateway resides between an organization's email server and firewall. It encrypts outbound messages and decrypts inbound messages based on organization-defined policies. It uses a key server to retrieve a unique key to individually encrypt each outgoing message and decrypt each incoming message. The Sigaba Gateway works with any authentication mechanism.
