Cryptsoft today announced its latest round of certification in the RSA® Ready program, demonstrating an improved set of interoperability features between the latest Cryptsoft KMIP C Client SDK and the latest version of RSA® Data Protection Manager software (DPM) from RSA, The Security Division of EMC. The RSA Ready certification signifies that both companies have tested and certified interoperable products with DPM across multiple deployment scenarios.

The Storage Security Industry Forum (SSIF), a special interest community within the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), today announced the official launch of the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) Test Program. The KMIP Test Program and its test suites and protocols provide for conformance testing based on KMIP usage profiles and interoperable, secure solutions. The KMIP Specification is defined by OASIS (The Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) and test profiles are established by its KMIP Technical Committee.

Note: the SSIF program uses the Cryptsoft KMIP interoperability test suite.

Customer demand for encryption systems that support proven standards has never been higher. In appreciation of that, RSA Conference 2014 is showcasing interoperability demos for two of the most widely-adopted security standards from OASIS. The Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) and the Public-Key Cryptography Standard (PKCS) #11 are being featured in two separate demonstrations involving eleven companies. These organizations are delivering proven solutions that protect data, both in storage systems and in the cloud, across diverse infrastructures.
